When the Storm Comes…
Storms are part of life. Some arrive without warning. Others linger for what feels like forever. Whether they come as illness, grief, uncertainty, or the quiet worries we carry each day, we all know what it is like to wonder if we'll make it through.
This week's Gospel invites us into one of the best-known stories in the Bible—but perhaps not in the way we expect. Is this really a story about Peter's courage, or is it about something far greater? As we journey through Sunday's sermon and the daily devotions, we'll discover the wonderful comfort of a Saviour who doesn't wait for us to find Him, but comes to us in the middle of the storm.
I invite you to spend time with God's Word each day this week. As you read, reflect and pray, may you hear Christ's reassuring voice speaking to your own heart: "Take courage. It is I. Do not be afraid."
