- Come to the Well
- We all know what it feels like to be thirsty — not just physically, but spiritually. Thirsty for peace. Thirsty for belonging. Thirsty for something that actually lasts.
- In this Sunday’s Gospel from John 4, Jesus meets a woman at a well in the middle of the day. She comes alone, perhaps hoping to avoid others. She carries a complicated past and a quiet shame. But instead of avoiding her, Jesus does something unexpected — He speaks to her. He crosses every boundary of culture, reputation, and religion to offer her something deeper than water: “living water.”
- This is not just an ancient story. It is a story about us. About the places we go looking for fulfilment. About the walls we build. About the thirst we try to ignore.
- And it is a story about grace — grace that seeks, grace that speaks, grace that satisfies.
- Join us this Sunday as we gather at the well with Christ. Come and hear how the living water He offers still flows today — for the thirsty, the searching, and the weary.
