St Paul's Lutheran Church
Caboolture & Bribie Island
Sunday 2 August 2026
Have you ever found yourself saying, "I don't have enough"?
Not enough time. Not enough energy. Not enough patience. Not enough money. Not enough faith. The disciples knew exactly how that felt. Faced with thousands of hungry people and only five loaves and two fish, all they could see was what they lacked.
Jesus saw something entirely different. He saw people. And with compassion, He took what seemed hopelessly small, gave thanks, and transformed it into more than enough.
This week we'll discover that the miracle of the feeding of the five thousand is about far more than bread and fish. It's about the abundant heart of God, the overflowing grace of Christ, and the wonderful truth that little becomes much in His hands.
I encourage you to journey through the devotional resources in this bulletin throughout the week. Whether you come to them feeling full of faith or running on empty, come to them with confidence. Our compassionate Saviour still welcomes the weary, still satisfies the hungry, and still delights in taking ordinary people and ordinary gifts and using them for extraordinary purposes.
This week may we discover that when compassion meets scarcity, God's grace is always more than enough.
